Social Deficit
Being slightly introverted on the social scale, I’m usually not too active in asking friends out. But in the past couple of weeks, I managed to organize, meet, and catch up with many friends. Many friends were just as eager to meet up and only required a little nudge from me to organize the gatherings. […]

🌏 Weekend
It was Earth Day on Friday, I seized the opportunity to do some gardening and pampered the many succulents in the studio. Earth Day became Earth Weekend. On Sat., after having dim sum lunch with my family (my first dine-in since the 5th pandemic wave), I went home and cleaned up my little green corner. […]

M(art)ch Break Wrap-up
The pandemic continues to ease with daily COVID cases dropping from high to mid 4 digits this past week. I wrapped up the last days of the impromptu M(art)ch Break with more Pokémon memo drawings, bible scripture writing, and character design of the Kings of Kowloon (Bay) based on the Old Master Q characters. Also […]

WFH… Inktober 52
After a month of being a web programmer and completing the redesign of 4 websites, I gave myself a break this past week to indulge in art. I first set aside my laptop to make room on the only desk I had to draw. Never turned on the laptop again the rest of the week. […]

Helping Others While WFH
Some of my CNY postcard fai-chuns started arriving their North American destinations this past week. My friends started messaging me one by one the photos of the Blessed Sleeping Tigers, I was happy receiving their messages as much as they receiving my little pieces of art. The past week had been rather gloomy. Local pandemic […]

Work From Home (cont’d)
Continued my second week of working from home. Never stepped outside the apartment from Monday to Friday (likely my personal record). The only person I saw was my sister next door delivering me a couple cans of egg rolls. After updating this personal website the week before, I kept on doing more web work and […]

Work From Home
Started working from home last week as the 5th pandemic wave was rather severe with daily COVID cases in the low 4 digits. Got back into doing some website work. Finished backing up and updating the design of this personal website and was more than halfway done for one of my studio websites. Working in […]

Website Update
Started working from home this week due to the worsening 5th pandemic wave. I’m not too worried about infection because I just had my booster jab a few weeks ago, shouldn’t be life-threatening even if I unfortunately become infected. Nonetheless, it’s probably still better to stay home to lower my chance of needing to line […]

CNY 2022
Mailed out the last batch of the hundred Blessed Sleeping Tiger (躺平福虎) postcard fai-chuns yesterday, now just have a few to deliver in person later. Still have about 10 of the postcard fai-chuns to spare. I was hoping to give them out as gifts when I meet up with friends during the CNY holidays, but […]
