Weekly Update…

Skipped a week of updates because I was too tired last Sunday after joining the city’s rally against the extradition to mainland rule. The rally had the largest number of protesters since the Umbrella Movement, there was a sense of hope I felt afterwards. But will our stubborn Government listen to their people? There are […]

Weekly Update

The past week was filled with highs and lows: Woke up on Monday with a strong urge of going back to school and study landscape architecture, it had to do with the dream, but I couldn’t recall the faintest content. It felt like a calling from above and the more I thought about the possibility […]

Creative Monday

The first thing I did when arriving at the studio was to clear out the drafting table and get ready to indulge myself with art.  Spent the day practicing ink & wash, completed a couple of animal portraits, hardly spoke a word to my colleagues. Joined my weekly oil painting class in the evening.  It […]

Half Day @CUHK

Went back to my Alma Mater before noon to sit in on a public lecture by Xi Zinong on “Protecting the Nature through Images”.  The humble and admirable wildlife photographer have spent ~30 years treading through the most remote locations in China taking breathtaking pictures of nature.  I understood probably around 60% of the mandarin, […]
