RIP: Badminton Racquet

(Dead) Badminton RacquetI killed my racquet playing badminton!  I’ve only used the racquet for a few months, and I only realized how much I’m attached to it when it’s dead.  It’s like that for a lot of things, we never realize their true values until they are gone, forever.

Quitting badminton actually crossed my mind, but I know I can’t, at least not yet…

Sustainable Energy – without the hot air

Completed the recommended reading for a course.  The book is great as it answered a lot of the questions I’ve always pondered.  It’s free too!

Looking at some of the graphs from the book, I realized that I’m now living more sustainably in HK compared to Canada. This is an unintended good thing.

It kind of make sense as I now:

  • walk a lot more and take public transit rather than drive
  • don’t need any heat at home during winter
  • don’t need to turn on lights during the day as I no longer live in a basement
