Went with my sister and brother-in-law to join the annual 7.1 Rally. I joined the rally for my first time 2 years ago, didn’t go last year, and this year it felt like I couldn’t afford to miss it. The rally this year is definitely more crowded and tiring.
Wouldn’t it be nice to chill out with a cold glass of beer and celebrating Canada Day at the other side of the globe instead of getting all sweaty and smelly in the rally? Some solitude in the studio would be another good option to spend the holiday. Why rally for justice, freedom, and democracy? I don’t know crap about politics, I’m just doing what I think is the right thing to do.

Did a little cartooning in the afternoon followed by my evening oil painting class, it was another simple, quiet, and creative Monday.

Thankful for a no-work Creative Monday. Watched the 3am France vs Honduras game, slept in, it was near lunch time by the time I got back to the studio. Did some 3D printing experimentation in the afternoon before going to my evening painting class. It felt good to be painting again after 2 weeks absence.
