Goodbye August, Goodbye Summer!
Another month has gone without a trace, can You make time pass a little slower oh Lord?!
I have many things in mind that I wanted to do, but the plans require long term dedication, I’m a bit afraid to even start. I’ve been planning on an extended vacation back to Canada this Fall, it’s been more than 6 years since my last visit, really hope to meet and catch up with some old friends. Perhaps it will also be a good time for me to take a little break, reflect on life, think more thoroughly before executing my plans with persistent dedication.
May my plans align with God’s purpose in me. ??

Creative Monday
Finished my Chinese calligraphy practice early today. Spent a little time picking up watercolor afterwards. I haven’t done any serious watercolor painting since started taking calligraphy classes more than a year ago.
I’m considering to join a watercolor contest that’s closing end of month (just 2 days left ?). I know full well that my watercolor skill is far from being competition worthy, but the competition is for Canada, and I really hope to contribute to the 150th anniversary celebration of my home and native land. Let’s see if I can come up with something that’s not too humiliating to enter the contest in the next two days…
