Been back to HK for more than a week now. The city still felt as though it’s under a dark gloomy veil from the Wang Fuk fire tragedy.
The introverted side of me utilized the city-wide mourning as an excuse not to socialize. But as the time of my visit quickly runs out, I started getting worried that the missed opportunities to meet and catch up with friends while I’m in town may lead to lingering regrets when I return to Canada.
So the small extroverted side of me won and I started messaging friends to organize meetups. Will be meeting and catching up with friends a lot this week, I think that’s one of my top priorities besides seeing my parents. Other than that, I’ll probably be spending a lot of time cleaning up my neglected studio and bedroom at my parents’ place. Lots to be done in this trip, may God continue to guide me, help me make good use of the limited time I have to do and to say the right things. 🙏🏻
