{"id":7422,"date":"2017-12-30T17:04:33","date_gmt":"2017-12-30T09:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/?p=7422"},"modified":"2017-12-30T17:04:33","modified_gmt":"2017-12-30T09:04:33","slug":"2017-review","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/2017\/12\/30\/2017-review\/","title":{"rendered":"2017 Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Took a quick look at the 7 New Year&#8217;s resolutions I made as year 2017 started, I&#8217;ve completed absolutely zero items, a couple were even left untouched, but I did make good progress on a few of them, so it&#8217;s not entirely futile.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back on some of the major events that happened to me in 2017, many not included in my New Year&#8217;s resolutions, the list includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experiencing the death of my uncle (dad&#8217;s younger brother) in March<\/li>\n<li>Completed 2 half-marathons<\/li>\n<li>Completed a beginner barista certificate<\/li>\n<li>Started volunteering to serve the elderly<\/li>\n<li>Started doing brush-and-ink portraiture<\/li>\n<li>Month-long vacation in Canada in October<\/li>\n<li>Experimented and made some satisfactory acrylic paintings<\/li>\n<li>Served in fellowship for another year<\/li>\n<li>Started going out with a girl I like<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_5296.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"tl-photo aligncenter wp-image-7423 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_5296-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Took a quick look at the 7 New Year&#8217;s resolutions I made as year 2017 started, I&#8217;ve completed absolutely zero items, a couple were even left untouched, but I did make good progress on a few of them, so it&#8217;s not entirely futile.
