{"id":2274,"date":"2012-01-03T18:51:16","date_gmt":"2012-01-03T10:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/?p=2274"},"modified":"2012-01-03T18:51:16","modified_gmt":"2012-01-03T10:51:16","slug":"new-years-resolution-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/2012\/01\/03\/new-years-resolution-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"New Year&#8217;s Resolution 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A review of my <a title=\"New Year Resolution 2011\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tonylaw.com\/wwwroot\/wp\/?p=1320\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">last year&#8217;s resolution<\/a> revealed that I&#8217;ve only completed 4\/10 of my resolutions, a failing grade.\u00a0 I wouldn&#8217;t consider it a total failure though as many items were still in progress or on the verge of completion.<\/p>\n<p>I still insist on making my New Year&#8217;s Resolution this year because &#8220;<em>&#8230;the trouble with not having a goal is that it&#8217;s like spending your life running up and down the field without scoring&#8230;<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; Internet.\u00a0 So here&#8217;s my list of resolutions this year:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start a company.<\/li>\n<li>Make my career (full time + freelance) profitable.<\/li>\n<li>Read another version of the Bible.<\/li>\n<li>Continue to pray for my parents (weekly).<\/li>\n<li>Start a habit of praying before meals.<\/li>\n<li>Rid of my bad habit.<\/li>\n<li>Complete a 10K run within 55 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Reach and maintain 55% win\/loss percentage for my badminton practices.<\/li>\n<li>Improve my freethrow percentage to 70%.<\/li>\n<li>Keep all my resolutions!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I pray that God would give me the wisdom,\u00a0 health, and perseverance to attain these goals.\u00a0 2012 seemed like it will be a critical metamorphic year in my life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A review of my last year&#8217;s resolution revealed that I&#8217;ve only completed 4\/10 of my resolutions, a failing grade.\u00a0 I wouldn&#8217;t consider it a total failure though as many items were still in progress or on the verge of completion.
